Your home studio feels different when you’re creating.
In that sacred space, whether it be midnight or in the middle of the day, that amazing state of creativity occurs in the moments when you’re channeling something purely magical.
As a female singer-songwriter, I love those nights when I have a melody in my head and it feels like something higher is helping me write the lyrics. I believe this is all proof that creative energy responds to something deeper than skill alone.
If you need to feel a little more inspired, I want these Law of Attraction quotes to help remind you that your art comes when the universe is speaking to you.
But before I pepper you with some of my favorite quotes about Law of Attraction — what is the Law of Attraction, really?
What is the Law of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction isn’t just some mystical concept where positive thoughts magically manifest desires — although that’s a part of it. 😉 The Law of Attraction requires action (hehe, that rhymes).
The Law of Attraction is beautifully simple: what we put out into the world through our thoughts and energy tends to find its way back to us. Like a mirror reflecting back our inner world, it suggests that our mindset shapes our experiences and what we focus on expands. Whether working in the studio or navigating life, it’s about how our thoughts become the blueprint for what manifests.
This Law of the Universe can remind you, dear artist, that you have every ability to live your deepest, truest creative dreams. In fact, for artists especially, it’s a very important framework for aligning our creative energy with our deepest aspirations while making sure this can be a sustainable business.
It’s the universe’s collaborative canvas, where your thoughts, emotions, and actions paint the reality you experience. ✨
As creatives, we’re already familiar with the power of visualization. When we sketch a preliminary drawing, envision a finished piece, see that song before we’ve written it, or feel that part before we’ve acted it, we’re actually engaging with the same principles that make the Law of Attraction work.
We’re maintaining a frequency that resonates with our desired outcomes while taking inspired action toward our goals.
What makes this particularly powerful for artists is our natural ability to think in possibilities rather than limitations. We’re trained to see beyond what exists and imagine what could be.
TLDR; as an artist, you’re already set up to be a natural at using the Law of Attraction in your life.
10 Law of Attraction Quotes Every Artist Should Know
I hand-picked each of these Law of Attraction quotes specifically because they speak to the artist’s soul. So dust off your vision board (or get ready to make a new one) and get cozy and inspired by these little doses of magical inspiration said from some pretty amazing people.
1. “If it ain’t fun don’t do it.” – Jack Canfield, Key to Living the Law of Attraction
Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, speaks to the idea that joy is a creative catalyst. I love that this positive thinking quote is so straight-up blunt — stop doing stuff you don’t like!
Think about your most successful works of art; weren’t they often created during moments of pure enjoyment rather than forced obligation?
When we approach our art with playfulness and excitement, we naturally align with higher vibrational energies that attract more opportunities and inspiration. This is also important when it comes to your Cozy Girl Job. Sure, it might not be your dream creative career, but why do parts of it need to be boring if we can find a way of making them fun?
Infuse fun into your artistic practice and into the job you’re doing to make money. When it comes to your art, instead of forcing yourself to work in styles or mediums that drain you, lean into what brings you alive. When it comes to your job, what parts of it can you make fun?
For me, since I work remotely, I make sure to light candles, listen to podcasts, music and even TV shows in the background when it doesn’t distract me, eat yummy snacks, and give myself plenty of joy-sparking breaks throughout the day. Today I watched Gilmore Girls on my lunch break!
When you’re having fun, you’re in flow, and that’s where the magic happens — even if the magic is making your “work work” easier so you can dive into your creative work later with energy and excitement.

2. “You create your thoughts, your thoughts create your intentions and your intentions create your reality.” – Wayne Dyer
Among the most powerful manifestation sayings, this one stands out for artists; trusting the process becomes easier when we see that there are many parts of your being and in the universe that are rooting for you. When we align our thoughts with our artistic vision, we naturally attract the resources, opportunities, and inspiration needed to bring that vision to life.
3. “Be thankful for what you have, you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never ever have enough.” – Oprah Winfrey
Of all the Law of Attraction quotes, I think this one is the biggest pathway to having a life you truly love. Gratitude is a creative force that amplifies our artistic potential. When we appreciate our current skills, resources, and opportunities, we create an energetic opening for more to flow in.
Think about your artistic toolkit – not just your physical supplies, but your unique perspective, your technical skills, and your creative instincts. Each time you acknowledge these gifts (instead of living in “I need more”) you’re sending a signal to the universe that you’re ready for more.
I like to do mini gratitude sparks when I’m feeling anxious — being grateful for even the smallest things. “I’m grateful for the comfy chair that I’m sitting on, the beautiful twinkle lights that are giving my room a moody glow at this time of night, and the heat for keeping me warm!”
This practice creates a positive feedback loop: gratitude generates creative flow, which leads to better work, which inspires more gratitude.
4. “The idea is the first currency of the Universe, so pay attention to the ideas that are in harmony with your vision.” – Mary Morrissey
Ideas are the universe’s way of communicating with artists.
When we tune into the frequency of inspiration and remain open to divine guidance, we become channels for creativity rather than forcing it. Your creativity isn’t random — I truly believe they’re messages from your higher power!
Whenever I’m writing a song, I feel like it’s something else that’s sending me a message. It’s almost like we’re mediums, but we’re getting messages in the form of words we need ourselves and the world to hear.
Think of those moments when inspiration strikes like lightning – in the shower, during your morning commute, or just as you’re falling asleep. These aren’t coincidences. These are times when your conscious mind is relaxed enough to receive the universe’s broadcasts.
These fleeting ideas are valuable currency, and like any currency, they need to be carefully collected and invested.
5. “If you want to find the secrets of the Universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.” – Nikola Tesla
Tesla’s scientific approach to universal energy aligns so perfectly with artistic creation — I love it! Every brushstroke, every note, every movement carries a specific frequency. Everything is energy, and the more you know that, the more you can be intentional about what energy you’re intaking and giving out.
In fact, let’s have some fun: consider your studio space as an energy field.
The music you play while creating, the colors you surround yourself with, even your physical movements as you work all contribute to a specific frequency. Artists who consistently produce powerful work often unconsciously create these beautifully divine energy environments.
Make this process conscious. Choose elements that elevate your creative frequency: perhaps it’s natural light, specific scents, or certain times of day when your energy peaks.
6. “As far as I can tell, it’s just about letting the universe know what you want and then working toward it while letting go of how it comes to pass.” ― Jim Carrey
If none of these abundance mindset phrases are clear to you, I hope this is. Jim Carrey puts it so simply. While we need clear intentions and dedicated artist systems, we must also trust in the universe’s timing and methods.
Sometimes our greatest masterpieces come from unexpected inspirations or “mistakes” that turn into breakthroughs.
Instead of forcing outcomes (which tends to be a lower energetic vibration), treat these moments as the universe’s invitation to explore new directions. Perhaps that portrait isn’t working because you’re meant to discover abstract expression.
Maybe that sculpture keeps falling apart because the material itself is trying to show you a better form. Your role as an artist is to remain devoted to your practice while staying open to divine redirection. The universe has already lovingly and meticulously crafted a path for you — let it slowly walk you down it.
7. “A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks he becomes.” ― Gandhi
How do you introduce yourself at gatherings? Do you hesitate to call yourself an artist? When I was in high school, I was terrified of telling people I was going to college for theatre. I’d dread the next question that would always come: Well, what are you going to do with that?
I was insecure in how people saw me — and I was scared that I might not achieve the dreams I set out for it.
Let’s take it a step further. Do you add qualifiers like “aspiring” or “amateur”? These subtle language choices program your subconscious mind and, by extension, your creative output.
Start claiming your artistic identity without apology, and I know this is hard! Practice saying “I am an artist” until it feels as natural as stating your name. It’s okay if it feels fake at first; it definitely did to me.
Because ultimately, this isn’t about ego – it’s about aligning your self-image with your creative potential.
8. “Richness is not about what you have. It is about who you are.” ― Bob Proctor
True artistic wealth isn’t measured in sales or followers. It’s measured in the depth of your creative expression and the impact your art has on others.
If you know anything about the influencer lifestyle at all, you’d know that there are many, many influencers out there who have a million followers — but it doesn’t mean they’re making a million dollars. Some micro influencers are making a lot more money than macro influencers because their audience is dedicated to them, even if they are smaller.
Abundance comes in sooooo many forms – inspiration, creative flow, meaningful connections, the joy of creation itself, and yes, money!
With that being said, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to earn money from your art, or wanting to earn more money than what you’re making now. But it’s important for you to know who you are and have your intentions clear before that happens, or you might be shooting for a life you might not want!
I’ll end it with these — I’ve worked with a lot of business owners. And more money means more responsibilities, more problems, more people, more meetings, more more more.
That might be their dream life! But for you, you might prefer a slightly smaller number if it means having a life you want over sacrificing who you are.
9. “Minds are like flowers, they only open when the time is right.” ― Stephen Richards
Just as flowers bloom in their own time, our artistic abilities and insights unfold naturally when we create the right conditions. Creative development can’t be forced.
Think of your creativity as a garden rather than a machine. You can’t command a flower to bloom, but you can provide fertile soil, regular water, and optimal sunlight.
Similarly, create those beautifully thriving conditions that support your artistic growth: a dedicated workspace, regular practice times, exposure to inspiring works, and periods of rest.
Notice how different conditions affect your creative output. Perhaps you bloom best in morning light, or your ideas flourish after physical exercise.
Like a garden, you’ll have seasons of explosive growth and periods of apparent dormancy. These fallow times aren’t failures – they’re essential periods of internal development. Use them to study other artists, experiment with new techniques, or simply observe the world more deeply. Trust that beneath the surface, your next creative breakthrough is taking root.
10. “What you feel about another person, what you think or say about another person, what you do to another person – you do to you.” ― Rhonda Byrne
One of my favorite quotes about being an artist in this day and age is a rising tide lifts all boats. Our relationship with other artists directly affects our own creative journey.
Feeling that anxious envy/FOMO is very real, especially when you’re working a Cozy Girl Job and being patient with your art. That is real, valid, and I 100% hear you.
In the same breath, challenge yourself to reach out and learn from artists you feel are “ahead” of you. Share your knowledge. View other artists as co-creators. Art, as a spiritual practice, knows no competition. Each artist’s voice is fervently sacred.
As these Law of Attraction quotes come to an end, your creativity is just beautifully beginning.
