I changed the tense from “will be” to “am” and the focus from negative to positive.I will quit my job.→ I love running my online art shop which provides me with a full-time, consistent income. I added a state of being and changed the action from “will quit” to “running.”I’m in a job I love.→ I am working full-time as a musician and content creator.
Here are some tips for crafting an effective affirmation:

- Create a sheet of at least 10 other Etsy shops that you want to draw inspiration from.
- Find an educational YouTube channel about your Etsy shop niche and play those videos when you’re washing dishes, cleaning, commuting or going for a walk (free training).
- Put away $5 a week in a business savings account for business expenses (like Canva, Etsy ads, etc.)
- Create your first product!
These systems should be beautiful and intentional. I don’t want you to just write these down on random Apple Notes. Make them in a table, color-code them, add your favorite emojis, add pictures, or whatever you need to do to better engage yourself with it for the process to spark joy.
